This wine comes from the south-facing slopes directly around winemaker Cecilia Monte's cellar. After 12 months of aging in barrels of various sizes and a long rest period in the bottle, it displays immense harmony. The nose is ethereal and balsamic with hints of ripe berries, cinnamon, and violets. The tannins are somewhat more robust in their youth but transform over the years into a velvety texture. A Barbaresco with great aging potential (2040+)!
