Setteanime, literally meaning ‘seven souls’, is rooted in the fertile soils of the Piave region. This estate represents the harmony between tradition and a modern, almost poetic approach to winemaking. They succeed in imbuing classic regional grapes with an unprecedented purity and energy. Wines with a soul, made for moments that linger.
Who says great wine only comes from remote valleys? In an old car garage in the heart of Lisbon, David and Catarina create their ‘urban wines’. Adega Belém is raw, experimental, and extremely captivating. With a minimal intervention philosophy and the use of amphorae and skin contact, they bring the salty Atlantic breeze and the city’s rebellious character straight into your glass.
Pioneers in biodynamics and masters of Roero. The Hilberg-Pasquero family makes wines that defy trends. Through the use of ceramic tanks and a deep respect for natural cycles, they create wines with an unprecedented energetic charge. From their powerful Barberas to their complex Timorasso: every bottle is a technical masterpiece with great emotional value.
Near the Tuscan coast, in the shadow of Bolgheri's big names, Fattoria Kappa produces wines with an overwhelming personality. Here, international varieties such as Cabernet and Merlot merge with the Tuscan sun. The result? Powerful, spicy wines that shine with their balance and a velvety structure. An absolute discovery for those who appreciate depth and character.
Inserrata is an organic paradise in San Miniato where wine, art, and nature merge. Their wines not only stand out for their beautiful artistic labels, but especially for what's inside the bottle: pure, minimalist wines without frills. Whether it's their barrel-aged Chardonnay or their intriguing Orange Wine, Inserrata stands for authenticity and Tuscan innovation.
Imperiale embodies the power and luxury of Bolgheri. Located in one of the most prestigious wine regions in the world, they produce wines that strike the perfect balance between ripe sun-drenched power and mineral freshness. Their 'Scapestrato' is the ultimate proof of this: a rebellious blend that honors tradition but looks to the future with a modern, seductive wink.
In the prestigious Serracapelli cru in Neive, we find Cecilia Monte. Cecilia manages her vineyards with almost surgical precision, resulting in Barbarescos known for their feminine elegance and silky tannins. Her wines are honest and unadulterated; they tell the story of the calcareous soils and the unique microclimate of her terroir.
In the historic village of Damery, in the heart of the Vallée de la Marne, lies the family-owned récoltant-manipulant domain Goutorbe-Bouillot. Led by father Dominique and son Bastien Papleux, they produce Champagnes with a unique signature. The domain is beloved worldwide by sommeliers for their impressive mastery of the réserve perpétuelle (Solera method), blending up to 38 vintages. By blocking malolactic fermentation, Goutorbe-Bouillot's Champagnes retain their pristine, saline tension, while the decades-old Solera provides fabulous, creamy depth. Artisan, gastronomic bubbles of the highest quality, now exclusively available in Belgium.
Masseria La Cattiva is the 'punk rock' of the Italian wine world. Housed in an old farmhouse in Puglia, this collective of former brewers makes natural wines that burst with life. Don't expect heavy, alcoholic bombs, but light, quaffable and unfiltered wines with an enormous 'glou-glou' factor. Rebellious, fresh, and dangerously delicious.
