De Vareij is an absolute "offbeat" wine that baffles even the most experienced tasters; in a blind tasting, you'd swear there's white wine in your glass. This unique creation is a blend of 85% Brachetto and 15% Barbera. The grapes are co-fermented in stainless steel, followed by natural malolactic fermentation and a minimum of 2 years of aging. Without fining or filtering and with an extremely low sulfite content, the wine retains its pure, floral soul. The result is a dry, fresh body with an explosive nose of rosehips and wildflowers.
