'Furioso' lives up to its name: this is the wild, untameable soul of the Piave region. Raboso is known for its powerful tannins and high acidity, but Setteanime has tamed these into a monumental wine. After an extremely long maturation of years in oak barrels and in the bottle (this 2016 is only now perfectly ready to drink), a wine emerges with a deep dark color and a complex bouquet of maraschino cherries, tobacco, leather, and cocoa. A characterful wine with enormous structure and a cellaring potential of decades.
